European Parliament President Roberta Mezzola has said that Europe will always support Israel’s right to exist, considering that it is unreasonable to doubt Israel’s right to exist.
In his speech before the Knesset plenary, Mitsola stressed the European Parliament’s commitment to strengthen relations with the State of Israel and stressed that the relationship between Israel and the peoples of Europe is deep.
Commenting on the threats facing Israel, the woman said, “In the eyes of many outside Israel, it is unthinkable that Israel’s right to exist should remain in doubt. I want to be clear: Europe will always support Israel’s right to exist. ”
Mitsola cut Europe’s stance on Russia’s military operation in Ukraine and declared that Russia should be prevented from using nuclear weapons.
Citing the European Parliament’s stance in favor of a two-state solution and the possibility of a peace-building process, he also referred to the peace process and said, “Those who promote violence have no answer. Terrorism can never be justified. Violence has never been the solution and cannot be a reason for terrorism. ”
It is noteworthy that this is Mitsola’s first official visit outside the European Union since being elected to this post in January, and she is the youngest woman elected to this high position.
