CCTV footage shows Rami Fahim, the son of Egyptian Immigration Minister Nabil Mukarram, wandering in an apartment building in California, USA, before killing two young men, because Fahim is responsible for their murder.

The video, released last April, was aired on the American channel “KTLA 5” and shows 26-year-old Rami wandering in the hallway of a building in Anaheim, Orange County, California.

Rami was shown checking something in the hallway, and after he looked at it, his face was clearly recorded by a security camera.

In the building where Rami appeared, on the morning of April 19, 2022, two young Americans named Griffin Como (23 years old) and Jonathan Beham (23 years old) were killed.

CBS News previously reported that Rami, the son of an Egyptian minister, was inside an apartment where police found the bodies of two young Americans, adding that Rami had minor injuries and had been ordered to do so by police. Transfer to hospital until recovery from injury, before being charged with murder.

For his part, First District Attorney Jeff Moore of the homicide unit investigating the case accused Rami of committing murder under certain circumstances, “he’s a colleague as well as someone else with whom he lived. The Orange County High Court has scheduled the Rami trial for the premeditated murder of two young men in the United States for June 17, 2022.

Investigators also confirmed that circumstances related to the crime, including the suspect’s waiting and repeated murder, could lead to Rami’s death sentence, and the investigation concluded that he “used a deadly personal weapon, a knife.” And the accused is thought to have used it as a knife.

According to police reports published by the Los Angeles Times, one of the building guards met with “Rami” on the roof of the victims’ apartment complex around midnight on April 18, 2022, an hour before the murder.

This prompted the Egyptian Minister of Immigration to comment, and he said on Saturday, May 28, 2022, that his family was facing “severe hardships” after his son was accused of murder.

“God willing, my family and I are going through a difficult time, and we are going through a difficult time after my son was accused of murder in the United States,” the secretary wrote on his official Facebook page.

He added: “Performing my duties as a minister in the Egyptian government does not contradict the mother of a believer who bravely faces the plight of her child, and I, as a minister, have full responsibility. “The situation and the requirements of working with it, and I clearly distinguish between what is personal and public.”
