Russian forces fired 10 high-precision missiles on Saturday at port facilities and other industrial infrastructure in Mykolaiv, with the attacks originating from the occupied Kherson region, the Southern Command of Ukrainian troops said.
“At dawn, the enemy directed ten Onix-type missiles at Mykolaiv. [um dos mais modernos projéteis de alta precisão das forças russas]fired from the missile complex in the occupied Kherson region,” the same source said.
According to the Southern Command, Moscow attacked “port facilities and other industrial infrastructure in the city and there were impacts on nearby agricultural land.”
On the ground, efforts are still being made to ascertain the impact of the damage caused by the missiles and the existence of victims, said Vladislav Nazarov, of the Southern Command, in a statement on the operational situation in that region of Ukraine, published in the social network Facebook, to which the Ukrinform and Unian agencies belong.
The Russian army “is not active, but missile attacks and artillery and mortar shelling continue along the line of contact and behind us,” he added.
According to Vladislav Nazarov, Russian troops attacked the area around Velyka Kostromka in the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight, but there were no casualties.
At the same time, Ukrainian aircraft attacked a Russian stronghold near Blahodatnein the Mykolaiv region, destroying a surface-to-air missile system and two infantry fighting vehicles, it said.
The member of the Southern Command also stated that the Ukrainian defense forces continue to fight to expel the Russian army from the territory, while drawing their defensive lines and withdrawing from some positions.
