The mother of this Egyptian media, Shema Jamal, whose body was found a few days ago, made painful statements on Sunday after receiving permission to bury the body of the deceased from the prosecutor’s office and looking at her young daughter goodbye.
Egyptian prosecutors charged her husband, who works as a judge, and her partner, who works as a contractor, with Shema’s murder, and the two were arrested.
According to the report of the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Shorouq”, the host’s mother stated that in addition to the neck, “the effect of restraint using iron chains can be seen in the hands, legs and middle of the victim’s body, and repeated: “His shoulder. They tortured (her husband) and buried him alive.”
This mother emphasized that until the husband accused of her murder is punished, she will not accept condolences for her daughter, so that the fire in her heart and the burning of her daughter’s blood will be healed. “They buried my daughter alive.”
Shima’s family got permission to bury the body 6 days after removing the body from the pit where the accused’s husband buried her in a field in Badrshin area, south of Cairo.
The body of the victim will be buried tomorrow, Monday, in the “Syedah Nafiseh” cemetery in the center of Cairo.
On Sunday, an opposition judge in southern Giza decided to extend the detention of the adviser, the victim’s husband, for 15 days pending an investigation, charging him and another with premeditated murder.
The Ministry of Interior announced in a previous official statement that the security apparatus was able to find the suspect in Suez province by using modern security techniques by criminal investigation services, intensifying investigations and gathering information in the implementation of judicial measures. An arrest warrant has been issued for him.
The anchor’s death sparked controversy in Egypt after Shaima Jamal was declared missing last June, given the heinousness of the crime and its unconventional circumstances, and then reported to her husband, a judge in the State Council (an official judicial body). His absence, then his disappearance, and then informing his “partner”, the contractor, the judicial authorities, the chancellor killed his wife after a bitter dispute and buried her in a rented farm.
The prosecutor’s office had previously decided to imprison the “accomplice” and ordered the arrest of the fugitive consultant until his arrest in Suez province.
