The National Iranian Oil Company announced its readiness to restore crude oil production to the maximum level and conducted large-scale exercises in this regard in all regions.
Ormuz Kalavand, director of oil and gas production monitoring at the company, pointed out that “if a country needs to increase the export of crude oil or increase the consumption of local refineries, this can be done in the shortest possible time.”
Kalavand noted that the production management department of the company has conducted large-scale exercises in all areas of land and sea since the beginning of the week in connection with the increase in the crude oil production capacity of the National Iranian Oil Company to the maximum extent possible.
He explained that “this maneuver was aimed at identifying and eliminating bottlenecks in the work and their elimination by measuring the degree of readiness of equipment, oil facilities, wells and manpower.”
In this context, the Iranian news agency pointed out that “the production of crude oil before the imposition of US sanctions against Iran was 3 million 838 thousand barrels per day.”
