US President Joe Biden emphasized that Iran’s activities in the Middle East are destabilizing. At the Jeddah summit, Biden thanked Saudi Arabia for “inviting us to this important region.”
In a meeting with the heads of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt at the end of his trip to the Middle East, he added: We are determined to deal with terrorist threats in the region and we will support them. Our allies in the region to fight terrorism.
As Biden said at the summit, the United States is committed to ensuring that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon.
Biden pledged to strengthen air defense and early warning to counter air threats in the region.
Biden welcomed the role of regional countries in supporting the ceasefire in Yemen and said that the ceasefire has reached its 15th week and we will work to resolve the crisis there.
He also stated that there will be free trade agreements and Saudi investment in Jordan and other places, noting that our goals are focused and achievable, and we will work within the framework of a united Middle East.
Biden also emphasized that the United States will not allow foreign forces to limit the water straits in the region.
He continued: The United States will remain an active partner in the Middle East. We will work in the Middle East and establish stable economic relations.

The security and development meeting of Jeddah started in Saudi Arabia on Saturday afternoon with the presence of the President of the United States and the heads of the countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.
The leaders started the summit by taking a souvenir photo of the event. In a message, Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, conveyed his greetings to King Salman, the King of Saudi Arabia, and wished him success in the Jeddah Summit.
Pointing out that the Jeddah summit is being held in a situation where the world is witnessing great challenges, he added: We hope the Jeddah summit will face global challenges, emphasizing that the global economy is related to the stability of energy prices. and “We must continue to invest in clean energy.” He added that the kingdom had previously announced an increase in its production capacity to 13 million barrels.
