Zelensky called for the evacuation of the Donetsk region: Terror is the main weapon of Russia at this stage of the war

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on residents of the eastern part of the Donetsk region to evacuate.

In a video message, he noted that “a government decision has been made on the mandatory evacuation of the Donetsk region. Please evacuate the region,” noting that “at this stage of the war, terrorism is Russia’s main weapon.”

Russian strikes on the cities of the region almost every day lead to casualties among the civilian population.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk announced the mandatory evacuation of all residents of the Donetsk region, one of the two administrative regions of Donbass. She justified her decision on television by the destruction of gas networks and the lack of heating in the region in the coming winter.
