Commenting on the agreement to send grain from Ukraine, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that “this initiative, launched by the leadership of our country, represents an important diplomatic success for meeting humanitarian needs, even if the opposition cannot realize how important it is.”
After presiding over a government meeting at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, he noted that “everyone recognizes that the step taken to overcome the grain crisis, which is closely watched by the whole world, is entirely the result of the unremitting efforts made by Turkey in this regard.
