Augi pointed out during the thirty-first meeting of the OPEC Organization that “the oil-producing countries agreement in July 2021 has practically led to a zero rate of production cuts by August 2022”, explaining that “it was agreed to extend this agreement due to the interest of the countries- Members who are encouraged to continue working together to keep the markets calm and the gains made through the July 2021 agreement.
He stated that “Iran has emphasized at the highest level the need for cooperation among oil-producing countries, members and non-members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, and its support for this synergy in order to protect world markets and increase stability in them”, stressing that “the prevailing conditions in the world energy markets require an increase in oil and gas production on the one hand. Iran”, noting that “the use of this existing opportunity requires political will and the right decision on the part of the consumer country”.
