In a statement, the Iraqi coordination structure reaffirmed its support for “any constitutional way to resolve political crises and advance the interests of the people, including early elections after reaching a national consensus on them and providing a safe environment for them, and all this precedes work to respect constitutional institutions and prevent violations of their work. An indication that “our roof will remain the law, the constitution and the interests of the people.”

Previously, the structure delegated Hadi Al-Amiri to represent him in negotiations to resolve the crisis and communicate with political parties.

The structure, which includes several Iraqi Shiite political forces, with the exception of the “Sadr movement”, commented on the demonstration of its supporters in the vicinity of the Green Zone, which “expresses gratitude to the Iraqi masses defending the state and its institutions”, stressing that “today it set an excellent example expression” of peaceful protest and declared its readiness to defend the state.

The program urged its supporters to “be ready to defend the state, the constitution and the system whenever necessary”, noting that “just as Iraq won thanks to you, it will retain its federal democratic system with your awareness, your insight, and your constant readiness to protect and preserve it.
