Today, the US Department of Justice revealed the assassination plot of John Bolton, the former National Security Advisor of the White House, and announced a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The US Department of Justice announced that 45-year-old Shahram Borsafi, known as Mehdi Rezaei, offered to pay the American people $300,000 to kill Bolton, the former US ambassador to the United Nations.
According to the French news agency, he added: This action was “probably in retaliation for the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, Qassem Soleimani in January 2020.”
He also noted that Bolton’s assassination, which was planned by Borsfi, would have been carried out in Washington, D.C. or Maryland.
