A video shot on a phone camera shows the details of the truck colliding with the pedestrian bridge, causing it to collapse.
When the ambulance came quickly to the scene of the accident, its driver was surprised by the collapse of the bridge on the airport road, and he tried to stop the car by pressing the brakes, but he failed when he hit the bridge.
Neither the official TV nor the official “Petra” news agency announced more details about the incident and the injured.
Al-Malamkeh Network reported that injuries were recorded after a pedestrian bridge collapsed on the airport road.
He said: At dawn on Monday, due to the fall of the pedestrian bridge that resulted in injuries, the traffic on the Amman airport road after Madaba bridge was stopped.
