The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that “Clashes erupted with Israeli occupying forces stationed at a military checkpoint at the entrance to al-Shuhada Street in the Bab al-Zawiya neighborhood in the city center, during which civilians and shops were fired upon by grenades, as a result of which two young people were wounded in the leg and they were taken to the hospital.”

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced yesterday that a Palestinian was killed by a bullet to the head and 9 wounded, two of them seriously, after Israeli forces stormed the Jenin refugee camp. For its part, Israeli Army Radio reported that Israeli forces had killed the brother of Raad Hazem, the perpetrator of the Dizengoff attack in Tel Aviv, after besieging his home in the Jenin refugee camp.

Security officials and local sources told Wafa that massive Israeli military reinforcements stormed the city of Jenin and its camp yesterday morning, amid heavy shelling with bullets and tear gas canisters, and blew up the house with an anti-tank missile belonging to Fathi Hazem, Raad’s father.
