And she explained in her statement that “the total cumulative number of deaths from cholera has reached 36, distributed in Aleppo 31, Al-Hasakah 3 and Deir ez-Zor 2”, noting that “most of the deaths were caused by delays in seeking early medical help or people suffering from chronic diseases.
The ministry renewed its call for “the need to maintain hygiene standards, namely frequent hand washing with soap, drinking water from a safe source, and if it is not available, then it can be boiled for two minutes and then stored in a clean and closed container, in addition to washing fruits and vegetables well and preparing food.” consult a doctor if an infection is suspected.
