Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita has accused Iran of being an official sponsor of the spread of terrorism and divisions in the Arab world, with the complicity of some parties.

In the presence of Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, he explained that Rabat “supports legitimacy in Yemen to create conditions of security and stability for the Yemeni people”, adding that his country appreciates the “sober positions of the legitimate Yemeni government in resuming the truce, as Morocco condemns terrorist attacks by the Houthis because they are committing acts that threaten security and peace in Saudi Arabia and Yemen,” stressing that “the Houthi militias are working on Iran’s agenda.”

He believed that “Iran cannot continue to undermine world peace”, emphasizing that “Morocco is suffering from Iranian interference and condemns the Iranian bombing of Iraqi Kurdistan.”

He believed that the truce in Yemen, despite “all the violations by the Houthis”, was “a positive sign of the security of the Yemenis”, adding that “the actions of the Houthis during the truce phase do not serve the interests of the Yemenis, but rather the interests of the Iranians”, and continued : “Yemen has become a zone of Iranian intervention.”
