More than seven months after leaving Germany for Kaliningrad on February 7, one of the superyachts linked to Vladimir Putin is back on the road.
Forbes reports that the “Graceful” has been spotted off the coast of Estonia, with a new name: “Kosatka,” which is Russian for “killer whale.” On your trip, which may have Saint Petersburg as a destination, the superyacht is being escorted by an armed vessel of the Russian Coast Guard.
It is not known when the “Kosatka” left Kaliningrad, but Forbes, citing the marine tracking service MarineTraffic, reveals that the device for receiving and transmitting radio signals has been turned off since at least August 30.
Kosatka has an indoor pool, a dance floor, a helipad, suites for up to 12 peoplea wine cellar that can store up to 400 bottles and pool towel storage cabinets that double as vodka bars.
Registered in Russia, this and three other superyachts that may belong to Putin were sanctioned by the US Treasury Department on June 2. In addition to Kosatka, the Russian president is linked to five other yachts: Scheherazade, Olympia, Chayka, Shellest and Nega.
