At least 667 people were arrested this Thursday in France, in the third night of protests against the death of a 17-year-old boy at the hands of the police, according to data provided this morning by the French Interior Minister.

“These record arrests reflect the firm instructions given by the minister,” a source close to the head of the Interior Ministry, Gérald Darmanin, told Le Figaro.
