Apple will update the iPhone 12 in France to comply with European standards on electromagnetic radiation emission levels and be able to resume its sale in France, AFP reports this Friday.

After the debate and as requested (on Tuesday) by ANFR [Agência Nacional de Frequências]”The manufacturer Apple assured me that it would implement an update on the iPhone 12 in the coming days,” said the French Minister of Digital Transition and Telecommunications, Jean-Noël Barrot, in statements to the Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The French government agency ANFR demanded Californian technology giant Apple remove the iPhone 12 from the French market this week, after concluding that the device emits excessive levels of electromagnetic radiation.

ANFR ordered Apple “implement all available means to quickly repair this failure” or the company would have to withdraw from the market mobile phones already sold in France.
