“It is important to implement an effective economy of the Armed Forces. We all understand that given the expenses we face, the savings of the Armed Forces […] must be carried out so that each state ruble [tenha uma aplicação] effective,” Putin said, quoted by the EFE agency.
Vladimir Putin, who met with representatives of the Russian military industry in Korolyov, stated that a number of decisions were made to increase effectiveness and accelerate the processes of repairing combat capability.
On the other hand, he said that he had ordered to accelerate the implementation of new technologies to improve the technical characteristics of weapons.
“We must always be one step ahead. If we go ahead of the enemy, victory will be guaranteed,” he noted.
The Russian military offensive on Ukrainian territory, launched on February 24, 2022, plunged Europe into what is considered the most serious security crisis since the Second World War (1939-1945).
