Russia says Ukrainian attack in Donetsk left four emergency workers injured
Russia’s Emergency Response Ministry says four workers have been injured in a Ukrainian attack in the Donetsk region.
“The department’s firefighters were extinguishing a fire that occurred after a Ukrainian attack,” said a statement from the Ministry, quoted by Reuters. “There was a warning of another artillery attack. The attack hit them when they were leaving the place.”
Donetsk is one of four Ukrainian regions that were annexed by Russia at the end of 2022, an action that was condemned by the majority of countries in the United Nations General Assembly.
