The Generalitat Valenciana asked the Ministry of the Interior to urgently reinforce 4,000 agents of the National Police and the Civil Guard on the ground, to guarantee public order in the areas affected by DANA.
According to El País, the request was transmitted by the Valencian Government to the Spanish Minister of Interior Administration, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, during an urgent meeting.
