Egyptian Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Al-Moseli issued a ministerial directive on controls set to take inventory of land that has been harvested and land that has not yet been harvested.
According to Al-Watan, this directive includes the following in its first article: “Works on the land in agricultural fields and associations by at least one committee in the district of each local unit.
– Calculation of wheat sown areas in the province, determination of already harvested areas and comparison of the amount of wheat supplied with these areas.
– Issuance of a written warning to a citizen who has not supplied the specified amount in accordance with article two of the Ministerial Decree No. 51 of 2022 dated March 16, 2022.
– In the event that the holder brings the document, this is proved and the quantity is fixed and compared with the quantity actually provided. And in case the holder or the person responsible for this does not appear or present the document proving that he has made the delivery, whether with the knowledge of the weight or receipt of the Provider, the minutes of the case are prepared by the committee.
