The authorities in the Chinese capital of Beijing have announced the lifting of many of the restrictions put in place to combat the Corona virus, as the city of Beijing recorded 19 cases of the Corona virus today after a month of worry and isolation of 22 million people in it.

After easing some restrictions in recent days, the municipality announced a gradual return of Beijing residents to work from Monday tomorrow and the reopening of schools on June 13. It will also allow restaurants to serve customers again, and public transport will operate as normal starting tomorrow, but if you have a negative test result that has not exceeded 72 hours, you must visit public places.

And the number of corona virus infections in the capital, Beijing, rose at the end of April, surpassing 1,900, a high figure for China, which has a strict “zero Covid case” policy.

In an effort to limit the spread of the epidemic, Chinese authorities closed schools, non-essential businesses and public places in early May, while restaurants were only allowed to take takeaway orders, and residents, who were subjected to checks almost daily, were told to work from home.

China continues to implement a “zero injury” strategy, which requires quarantine and isolation to be implemented as soon as some infections appear.
