Brazil registers a trade surplus of 25,810 million euros in four months

Brazil registered a trade surplus of 25.81 billion euros in the first four months of 2024, 17.7% more than in the same period last year, the Brazilian Government indicated this Wednesday.

Exports increased by 5.7%, to 101.3 billion euros until April, while imports increased by 2.2%, to 75.49 billion euros, according to data published by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce.

By products, April exports were driven by oil sales, which grew by 92.4%, up to $4,605 ​​million.

Regarding destinations, Sales of Brazilian products to the European Union boosted exports of the month, with an increase of 39.3%.
