The album “suspense“, by Michael Jackson, will be re-released, on November 30, 2022, with a special edition to announce the four decades of the LP, entitled “Thriller 40”. The work is on pre-sale on the official website of the pop singer from this Monday.
The musical event will be held in partnership between Sony Music and representatives of the King of Pop’s estate. In addition to a disc of the original songs, which includes hits What “beat it“, “Suspense” Y “BillieJean” –, the crown jewel will be reissued with the right to another vinyl with various bonus tracks, including previously unreleased Michael Jackson songs initially created to belong to “Thriller”, tells Variety.
The LP won, upon its original release on November 30, 1982, eight Grammy Awards and sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The album “Thriller” was the first to achieve the first 80 weeks in the Top 10 albums in the United States of America.
