The theatrical version of the children’s series “Bluey” premieres in Portugal in November

“For the first time, Portuguese families will have the opportunity to see Bluey, Bingo, Mom and Dad in a theatrical show, with impressive puppets, iconic sets, live actors and completely new music,” says the promoter of the show, scheduled for on November 30. at the MEO Arena, in Lisbon, in a statement released this Thursday.

“Bluey ao Vivo” has a script by the series creator, Joe Brumm, and music by the person responsible for the beautiful “Bluey” soundtrack, Joff Bush.

The series, created in 2018, follows the life of the Heeler family, who lives in Australia, and consists of Bluey, 6, her sister Bingo, 4, and their parents, Bandit and Chili. All four are Australian cattle dogs, ‘blue heelers’.

The series has three seasons and the episodes last around seven minutes, except for the last one that premiered this year, which is 28 minutes long.

This month new episodes are made available, which in Portugal can be seen starting Monday the 7th, on the Disney+ streaming platform.

The show that now arrives in Portugal, after having been presented in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom, “accompanies the Heeler family during a day full of adventures, from dawn to bedtime.”

Tickets for “Bluey ao Vivo” are now on sale and cost between 34 and 85 euros.

The show, directed by Windmill Theater Company’s Rosemary Myers, is presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay, in association with Windmill Theater Company.
