Barcelona President Juan Laporta spoke about Mercato, the Catalan club, during the current summer transfers, as well as presenting Casey and Christensen’s deals.

Barcelona have decided to formally sign AC Milan and Chelsea’s Frank Kessy and Andreas Christensen, respectively, for free once their contracts expire.

“Casey’s presentation is on Wednesday and Christensen’s on Thursday,” Laporta said during a ceremony honoring Johan Cruyff on the Costa Brava in Girona.

And he added about the situation with Ousmane Dembele after the expiration of his contract: “Dembele, if he accepts our offer, will continue to work in the team, and at the moment we are not setting any deadlines.”

Regarding talks with Leeds about Rafinia, he continued: “Raffinia? We have spoken to Leeds in person, what is happening is that there are other clubs that want to include the player and make offers.”

On De Jong: “There are several clubs that want him, not only Manchester United, but we are not going to sell him and he wants to stay here.”

He explained, “I will work hard to renew De Jong’s contract, but there is a salary issue that needs to be changed.”

He concluded: “Lewandowski? He is a Bayern player, he is a great player, but I prefer to remain silent because he is committed to the contract with his club. We know he wants to play for Barca but we respect Bayern. and it’s mutual respect.”
