British boxer Anthony Joshua was very touched when he opened up about his second consecutive loss to his rival Oleksandr Usyk in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Joshua said in statements after the fight, which Usyk won in his favor to retain the world heavyweight title, that he was very upset with his performance against the Ukrainian champion.

He confirmed to reporters that he tried to play in a different style from the previous confrontation, but it didn’t work out.

Joshua took two of Usijek’s belts and threw them as he left the ring and headed to the locker room before changing course and returning to pick up a bullhorn and talk to the fans.

He confirmed that he is only angry with himself and not with anyone else and wants to get out because of his anger.

He added, “When you get angry, you do stupid things. After that, I realized that this was a sport and I came back and did the right thing.”

He concluded, “Usyk is a great champion and he did well during two fights. He’s an outstanding boxer, he’s had a lot of fights and he’s got a lot of experience.”
