The Premier League has released an official statement announcing the dates for the next round of the English Premier League following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
English Premier League matches will resume at the end of this week after the last round was rescheduled.
“Seven out of 10 Premier League matches will take place this weekend, with 3 matches postponed due to events surrounding the Queen’s funeral,” the statement said.
He added: “The postponed matches are Chelsea against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, Manchester United at home against Leeds United and Brighton against Crystal Palace.
“After extensive consultations with clubs, police, local safety advisory groups and other relevant authorities, there was no choice but to postpone three matches,” the statement said.
He concluded: “New dates for the rescheduled matches will be announced in due course” and the tour schedule is as follows:
Friday: Aston Villa – Southampton.
Nottingham Forest – Fulham.
Saturday: Wolverhampton – Manchester City.
Newcastle – Bournemouth.
Tottenham – Leicester City.
Sunday: Brentford Arsenal.
Everton – West Ham.
