The Barlavento and Lima basins continue to have amounts of water below the average

The basins of the western Algarve, with 13.3%, and Lima, with 18.3%, had the least amount of water stored on the continent at the end of June, as it has been since the end of last year.

According to data from the National Water Resources Information System (SNIRH), the storage averages for the month of June are 71.7% and 73.5% in the Barlavento and Lima basins, respectively.

At the end of June, the basins of Mira (38.4%), Cávado (39.3%), Arade (46.1%), Sado (49.2%), Oeste (54.3%) and Tejo and Douro (56.3%).

The Mondego (86%), Guadiana (69.6%) and Ave (62.7%) basins were the ones with the highest levels.
