Report: Hollywood aggressively targets preschoolers in an effort to connect them with franchise characters for life

According to a report from The Wrap, major studios are aggressively targeting children aged two to five in hopes of becoming regular consumers of their content in unprecedented ways. Among the studios involved in the long game are The Walt Disney Co. and Warner Bros. Discovery recently launched the preschool-focused Cartoonito programming blog on Cartoon Network.

One of the studio’s main strategies is to introduce adult versions of superheroes like Batman to kids.
