Prince Khalid bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, met today in Washington DC with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
During the meeting, they discussed the strategic relationship between the two friendly countries, the Saudi-American partnership, as well as aspects of strategic cooperation in the current and future defense and military fields.

Subsequently, His Highness the Deputy Secretary of Defense led the Saudi side at a meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Committee between the Kingdom and the United States Departments of Defense, and the Deputy Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs, Dr. Colin Keil, chaired the American side. The meeting discussed developments and rapid regional and international changes , as well as many issues and cases were discussed within the framework of the vision of the two countries to protect common interests and maintain international peace and security.
