After 100 years … An old woman broke the record (film)


Ruth Lainia Inggard Larson of Sweden set a new Guinness World Record with a parachute at the age of 103 years and 259 days.

Guinness World Records official said Larson jumped next to paratrooper Joachim Johansson as he listened to “Try Your Wings.”

And the World Encyclopedia revealed that Larson first parachuted in 2020 at the age of 102, when he decided to break the record for the largest female parachute jumper.

Aside from parachuting, Larson enjoys spending time with his family of 5 children, 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren who enjoy crossword puzzles and singing.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, when Larson jumped 29, she broke the previous record set by a woman for parachuting by Katherine Katie Hodges in 2019 at the age of 103 years and 129 days.

While the oldest man to parachute is Alfred Al Blaschke, who did so in 2020 at the age of 103 years and 181 days.
