In a statement, she said that “the percentage of rainfall in Pakistan has exceeded the average level since June 14 last year by 87%”, adding that “this figure exceeded 274% and 261% in the states of Balochistan and Sindh, respectively. and due to incessant rains and flooding, the state of Balochistan declared a state of emergency in the regional capital, Quetta, which is still flooded in most of its neighborhoods.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Pakistani President Arif Alvi expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the natural disaster in Quetta and ordered financial assistance to be provided to those affected by heavy rains and floods.
