Israel’s Channel 13 reported that “Yair Lapid’s government ministers were not involved in the decision of the military operation, and the health minister criticized the lack of consultation.”

And the Israeli media indicated: “At 21:45, the Prime Minister will conduct a limited assessment of the situation with the participation of Defense Minister Benny Gantz and senior security officials.”

Earlier today, Lapid considered that “the goals have been achieved and there is no point in continuing the operation.”

On Friday, the Israeli army announced airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, noting that “a special case has been declared in the rear,” and explained: “We have launched a military campaign against the Islamic Jihad movement. The band, titled (Al-Fajr Al-Sadiq). The operation comes amid tensions this week after Israeli forces arrested Jihad leader Bassam al-Saadi in the Jenin camp.

As a result of this operation, a number of Islamic Jihad leaders were killed, including the commander of the Al-Quds Brigades in the northern region of the Gaza Strip, Taysir al-Jabari and Khalid Saeed Mansour, a member of the Military Council and commander of the southern region in the Al-Quds Brigades.
