Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mustafa al-Kazemi pointed out that “The Iraqis and their guests have celebrated the fortieth anniversary of Imam Hussein, his family and his companions, and the Iraqis have sent a message about the meaning of patience, atonement and self-sacrifice in its most wonderful forms, and they gave the world lessons in hospitality and courage.”
And he thanked in a statement: “Our security forces – in all their forms – that are still deployed throughout Iraq to pursue terrorists while protecting visitors, and I express my gratitude to the provincial administrations, ministries of service, and procession owners for providing services to visitors.
Al-Kazemi explained: “Iraq has received millions of visitors under these exceptional circumstances, but we have been able, in accordance with responsibility, to offer the maximum that we can offer, and we do not hide from our patient and capable people that Iraq is going through a political crisis. which may be one of the worst crises since 2003, but we have the hope and determination to find solutions to overcome this crisis in order to move on and move towards a secure and stable Iraq.
And he added: “My appeal to all political forces, let’s draw inspiration from this forty-year event and remember Iraq and the Iraqis. Iraq and Iraqis deserve sacrifice for them. .”
