Russian night attack on kyiv and Lviv damages power plants
This morning, Russia launched an airstrike against kyiv and the city of Lviv in western Ukraine.
The attack caused extensive damage to equipment at three power plants, DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private electricity company, revealed on Telegram.

“Africa’s voice is important when it comes to global support for a just peace in Ukraine,” Zelensky stressed yesterday.
On the same day came news that Sao Tome and Principe had signed a military cooperation agreement with Russia on April 24. According to Sputnik, the two countries agreed to cooperate in the training and recruitment of armed forces, use of weapons and military equipment, logistics, exchange of experience and information in the fight against the ideology of extremism and international terrorism, for example.
The agreement, which entered into force on May 5, also provides for participation in military exercises, considering that military cooperation between countries “contributes to strengthening international peace and stability,” the Russian news agency quotes.
