The Ukrainian military has already attacked North Korean soldiers in Kursk, Russia, according to the Kyiv Independent. The newspaper cites a counter-disinformation unit that exists within Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
This organization does not clarify under what circumstances Ukraine and Russia became involved in a direct conflict in that area, nor does it provide information on whether there could be deaths among North Korean soldiers.
About 8,000 North Korean soldiers have been sent to Russia’s Kursk region to take part in the war against Ukraine, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

Russian forces attacked on Sunday. Kharkovthe second largest city in Ukraine, and the attack against a supermarket, in a residential area, left at least four people injured.
According to Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov, a Russian guided bomb hit a supermarket in the Shevchenkivskyi neighborhood of Kharkiv, near the city center.
Four people were injured as a result of this attack and a fifth was injured in another attack in the same region.
